Trap League Information

2024 Summer League Schedule

  • Captains meeting is 7pm Tuesday March 26th, 2024 at the RFSC clubhouse
  • All trap team captains should attend. Others are welcome to attend as well
  • Summer trap hours are Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5-9 and Sundays from 11-3
  • Practice starts Tuesday April 16th 2024, Can score during practice weeks
  • First official week of league starts April 30th, 2024
  • Can shoot back for scores for the first 3 weeks
  • After 3rd week of half must stay current or get a zero. Can shoot ahead as much as desired
  • First half ends Tuesday week of July 2nd. Check calendar for closer due to 4th of July
  • Club shoot is the week of July 9th, 2024
  • NOTE: We are hosting an Indian Head Traveling League shoot. Plan is to have it Sunday of this week
  • Second half starts week of July 16th, 2024
  • Again can shoot back for scores for first 3 weeks of second half
  • Second half ends Sunday September 22nd, 2024
  • No shooting if temp is 0 or below at 11, but clubhouse will be open for renewals and socializing
  • Come and enjoy some winter shooting fun

We have a very active 16 yard Trap League that uses a handicap scoring system.
NOTE: Scores are typically updated on Monday evenings.

Indianhead Summer Trap League

The club participates in a 10 club trap league with 5 shoots per year a member clubs.
NOTE: Scores are typically posted one week after each each shoot.

Pistol League

Pistol League meet in the summer months on Wednesday evenings at 6 pm.

Muzzleloader League meets on Tuesday evenings during the summer months. Everyone is welcome!!!

High Power Rifle League

High Power Rifle League meets on Monday evenings during the summer months. The club owns several M-1 Garands and Carbines that are available for members to use. We are also members of the CMP(Civilian Marksmanship Program) where members can qualify to purchase Military surplus rifles.
