2011 SCHOLARSHIP
APPLICATION
RIVER FALLS SPORTSMEN’S CLUB
Two scholarships of $300.00 each are available to provide educational assistance to
eligible graduating high school seniors. Our mission is to encourage the growth and development of those characteristics of honesty, good fellowship, self-discipline, team play and self-reliance that are the essentials of good sportsmanship and the foundation of true patriotism. The purpose of theses scholarships is to provide educational assistance to individuals of future generations who will be protecting our rights and resources. Please complete the form below and attach a short typed essay.
Criterion:
· Application must be received by March 30th, 2011.
· Applicant must be a high school graduating senior.
· A parent, grandparent, or sibling who was a member of the River Falls Sportsmen’s Club the previous year (2010) and has intentions of renewing this year 2011.
· Applicant must plan to continue his/her education after graduation
· Applicant must have completed a recognized Hunter Safety Course. (attach a copy of card/certificate)
· Applicant must show active involvement in community, conservation, and patriotic and sporting organizations.
· Applicant must attach a short typed essay (maximum two pages) explaining the importance of the rights granted by the Second Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America .
· Senior picture (wallet size) of yourself that we can post it at the gun club to announce winners to our club.
